We are currently looking for a Maintenance Reliability summer intern at our Schenectady, NY office. The 2026 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will run from June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Join our Maintenance team as an intern and gain invaluable professional experience. Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning on June 1, 2025 - August 14, 2025
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills specifically in Microsoft office
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Agility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Fluent in English
Responsibilities
- Work with Maintenance Technicians and other interns to complete assignments.
- Collect information from work orders to analyse data of the equipment.
- Create lockout tag out, try out procedure as part of the maintenance safe work.
- Work with Maintenance to install QR codes on all equipment.
- Involvement with lean or 5S events on site.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for Maintenance department.
