Acceptance Place offers residential treatment services designed to serve male individuals identifying as Gay, Bisexual, or Transgender (F/M) with substance use disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive services, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. This residential inpatient program runs 24/7 for 90 days. Acceptance Place offers Individual and group therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, medication support services, and crisis intervention. The On-Call SUD Counselor is an AOD Certified individual and is an integral part of this interdisciplinary team that supports our clients through assessment of their needs and strengths in support of their health and recovery. SUD Counselor III will perform counseling in individual and group setting, deliver curricula in accordance with program specific requirements and case management, and assist clients in navigating systems of care while providing a supportive treatment environment. This position assists with onboarding new staff, mentoring interns/ambassadors.
