About The Position
Responsible for student learning, teaching, instructing, guiding and directing all students assigned to his/her class. The teacher will assist in maintaining an orderly and safe environment and perform duties as assigned. The Teacher will plan learning activities to assist students in gaining knowledge, developing skills, and attaining educational goals. The Teacher is also responsible for measuring and evaluating student progress toward attainment of educational goals. Substitute Teachers are required to have an active Substitute or Teaching certificate with DESE.
