About The Position
Position: Substitute Teachers All District Schools Effective Date(s): 2025-2026 school year Job Goal(s): To enable each child to pursue his/her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular teacher. Reports To: Principal/Vice Principal Employment Terms: Per Diem Position; as needed position Qualifications: A regular New Jersey teaching certificate or a substitute teacher's certificate issued by the County Superintendent. Successful prior experience as a classroom teacher. Demonstration of familiarity with school, philosophy, program and policies. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
