About The Position

This position is a temporary vacancy covering for a school lunch monitor on leave. The position is expected to end on November 4, 2025, when the current school lunch monitor returns to work. At that time, the covering sub lunch monitor will be terminated or moved to an on-call basis. Reports to: Principal/School Leader General Description:

Requirements

• This position is subject to the City of Boston residency requirement.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of up to 30 students
• Distribution of lunch inside the classroom
• General clean up of the classroom after lunch
• Escorting the students to recess
• Other duties as requested by the Principal
