About The Position

Under the supervision of the Assistant Principal and guidance and direction from the Athletic Director, Substitute Athletic Trainers provide assistance to student athletes in the prevention, evaluation, care and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Requirements

• Meets degree requirements needed for certification by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer
• One year of experience providing first aid, preventative and rehabilitative treatment to athletes.
• Valid First Aid and Adult CPR certification from an accredited organization.
• Valid California driver license.
• Effective January 1, 2026, and in accordance with California Education Code Section 44051(a)(1), any applicant for a non-teaching position must disclose a complete list of every school district, county office of education, charter school, state special school and diagnostic center operated by the department of education, and private school that the applicant has previously been an employee of, including full-time, part-time, or substitute roles.
