About The Position

You will be the Subcontract Administrator Staff for the Subcontract Administration team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑impact subcontract solutions that enable global sustainment of critical programs. As the Subcontract Administrator Staff you will be responsible for shaping the full lifecycle of major subcontract procurements, from definition through award and administration. Requirements

  • Knowledge of and experience with FAR/DFAR, LMAP, CAP, and other acquisition policies.
  • Expertise in building trades, materials, industrial gases, machinery, and maintenance.
  • Proactive with strong customer‑service orientation; able to manage a challenging workload efficiently.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills; self‑starter attitude.
  • Strong computer proficiency; experience with SAP or a comparable system.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for major specialized constructions, materials, equipment, and services.
  • Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, and create clear evaluation criteria.
  • Analyze proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, and recommend or select subcontractors.
  • Administer awarded subcontracts, manage modifications, and coordinate with contracts administration and purchasing.
  • Lead major projects, provide guidance without direction, and contribute innovative solutions and new concepts.
