Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Excellent team player who is willing to contribute in any capacity
  • Motivated individual with effective problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • 6+ years of related work or education experience in defense contracting and supplier management
  • Knowledge and experience with Oracle ERP, FAR/DFAR, flow down requirements, and financial acumen
  • Proficient in the full lifecycle of a subcontract (solicitation to closeout)
  • Proven results negotiating and executing subcontracts

Responsibilities

  • Procure materials, equipment, supplies and services for complex aerospace electronics based on program-specific requirements and specifications.
  • Support development of supplier statements of work (SOW) for multiple contract types while adhering to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR),Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and Procurement Compliance
  • Coordinate SME inputs to technical evaluations of complex subcontractor proposals, assessing realism, reasonableness, and completeness.
  • Responsible for supplier solicitations, developing supplier evaluation criteria, supplier selection and recommendations, compiling supplier RFP packages to align with customer proposal scope, schedule and objectives, leading supplier proposal evaluations, employ price analysis techniques to analyze cost, technical, and financial viability, investigate supplier's ability to perform within the proposed cost, technical, and schedule parameters.
  • Negotiate subcontract provisions, support the generation of subcontract packages for review, approval, and awards to suppliers. In addition, support the negotiation of additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts, coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and manage Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL) communication and deliverables.
  • Perform all post award activities including modifications, manage funding, track supplier spend, milestone payment plans, and authorize payment of invoices.
  • Authorized signature authority for procurements, subcontracts, and contractual point of contact with suppliers.
  • Represent subcontracts function at various levels on cross-functional teams to drive success and grow strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
