Inductotherm Corp is seeking a Subsystems Assembly Mechanic to join their team onsite in Rancocas, New Jersey. This role involves working on small-bench assemblies, including small components, Junction boxes, MCCs, and remote stations for power supply units. Responsibilities also include fabricating manifolds, brazing and soldering pipe fittings, and light mechanical assembly. The position requires experience in installing mechanical and electrical components and reading mechanical and electrical drawings.

Requirements

  • Experience in installing mechanical and electrical components and reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions.
  • Ability to read measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, protractors, and formulas.
  • Ability to operate power tools including band saws, shears, hydraulic presses, hydraulic benders, drill presses and sanders.
  • Ability to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Able to see, have good perception, and distinguish between colors.
  • Able to stand, climb, and bend for 8-10 hours.
  • Have good strength and be able to lift up to 51 lbs.
  • Quick hand and arm movement, or the movement of both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Communicate information and ideas, both written and verbally so others will understand.
  • Have a valid driver's license and able to drive an automobile.
  • Able to travel on short notice by public transportation including (i.e.: aircrafts, trains, bus, cars) domestically and internationally.
  • Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete the Inductotherm Corp. hiring process requirements which includes a comprehensive assessment, drug testing, and a background check.
  • Ability to comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 and federal laws and regulations, which include post-offer testing for marijuana.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to operate an overhead crane, an electrical pallet jack, and drive a forklift.
  • Technical certifications or related training.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble small bench assembly units according to specifications.
  • Read, interpret, and work from mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times.
  • Perform general housekeeping as required.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be able and willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
  • Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
