Responsibilities: Assist in the design and execution of PT sessions for midshipmen candidates Track and report on the progress of individual midshipmen candidates, providing targeted interventions for those needing additional support Maintain regular communication with the NPP Program Director and Military Resource Center staff about candidate progress and any necessary adjustments to training plans Ensure all activities are conducted within Navy safety and physical training guidelines. Requirements: Must meet Navy height and weight standards Must be in good standing with the Hampton Roads NROTC Unit Must have achieved an Excellent Low or better on the most recent Navy Physical Readiness Test (PRT) Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or willingness to complete certification training prior to start of academic year) Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate midshipmen candidates Ability to plan and execute fitness programs tailored to the needs of NPP midshipmen Knowledge of Navy physical training protocols and safety guidelines Excellent organizational skills to manage training schedules and participant records Ability to work collaboratively with other university staff and operate independently when required Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality Commitment to Regent’s core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity Regent University does not discriminate in employment in its programs or activities on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, disability, age or veteran status.
