The Moody Makerspace is looking for a creative, friendly, and outgoing student with a passion for educating others about "making." The Makerspace provides students, faculty, and staff access to various creative tools and equipment, including 3D printers, laser engravers, vinyl cutters, embroidery machines, bike repair, and various hand and powered tools. Maker Mentors are responsible for overseeing the use of this equipment and providing guidance to patrons on their projects. This involves brainstorming, teaching, and assisting with equipment and tool use throughout the project lifecycle. Ideal candidates are proactive, eager to learn, friendly, and enthusiastic about welcoming others to the world of making.
