About The Position
The Innevation Center Makerspace is now hiring for a Student Maker!
Requirements
- Applicants must be a current student at the University of Nevada, Reno.
- This position is open to students of all majors and is an in-person position located off-campus at the Innevation Center.
Nice To Haves

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience working in hands on creative environments.
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate the equipment in the makerspace including laser cutter, 3D printers, vinyl cutter, sewing machines, woodworking equipment, and machining tools
- Running and maintain 3D printers
- Training patrons
- Performing maintenance on a variety of equipment
- Give tours of the building
- Work closely with the front desk staff to provide support for all members of the Innevation Center
