About The Position

The Advertising Operations Coordinator supports the daily workflow of the Baylor Lariat advertising office by coordinating ad scheduling, monitoring production progress, and ensuring client-ready advertising metrics are accurate and accessible. This role also conducts prospecting outreach to identify potential advertisers and expand the Lariat’s client base. In addition, the assistant maintains the advertising inbox, prepares weekly internal presentations, and collaborates with the Digital Operations Assistant and student sales manager to keep campaigns organized, deadlines on track, and communication flowing smoothly across the team.

Requirements

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with common computer programs and digital tools
  • Ability to stay organized and manage tasks efficiently
  • Basic experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Email)
  • Willingness to learn and assist with creating simple presentations

Responsibilities

  • Prospects new and potential advertising clients for Lariat sales team (no sales required)
  • Coordinate with sales team and digital operations assistant to ensure advertising metrics are available for clients
  • Monitor accurate scheduling and production of advertising
  • Clean out Lariat advertising inbox daily
  • Monitor Sales goals, deadlines and look for sales team blind spots in production
  • Create marketing emails to promote advertising opportunities with clients
  • Present PowerPoint weekly to review sales quotas, advertising concerns and successes
  • Create weekly memos for sales staff with sales data
