About The Position

To equip students with the foundational social-emotional and self-regulation skills they need to engage in learning, while ensuring they feel safe, supported, and prepared to succeed in the classroom.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Child Development, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school, community, or clinical setting.
  • Prior experience supporting early childhood learners (PK-4)
  • Demonstrated ability to teach or reinforce positive social, behavioral, and self-regulation skills.
  • Strong understanding of child development, SEL frameworks, and positive behavior supports.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families.
  • Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with young children.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
