About The Position

The program runs from 3:15-6:00 pm. They provide one-to-one support to students and work with small groups. Student Support Advisors build strong positive youth-adult relationships, and do check ins and follow ups with students who have attendance and behavior challenges. SSA’s assist group leaders with leading games and activities to build students’ social emotional skills, and generally assist with student supervision. Group Leaders : Group Leaders are essential in supporting students and assisting lead facilitators in the day-to-day operations of the program. Within their assigned group, Group Leaders lead games and activities to build students’ social emotional skills, reinforce behavior expectations and routines, and provide academic support. Group leaders will build strong positive youth-adult relationships. Each group leader is assigned to one cohort of 15-20 students during our Enrichment block, but helps support all students during the rest of the program day.
