The position helps spearhead the College's retention efforts through coordination of planning, implementation, and execution of strategies to improve retention, progression, and graduation rates for all students through focused and strategic interventions. The position will manage a caseload of students across all five Pellissippi State Campus locations, focusing on in-person meetings, mentoring, advising, and coaching to close equity gaps and facilitate success in College. The position assists with planning and supporting new student onboarding through contextualized orientation sessions and welcome event. Additionally, the incumbent will support re-entry pathways for students experiencing academic probation and suspension. The job's overall purpose involves developing meaningful relationships with students through proactive and intentional support.
