About The Position

The role of the Student Services Coordinator position is to be the primary point of contact for answering student questions and dealing with student issues not directly related to flying operations. The Student Services Coordinator will work with the students from before arrival until course graduation and will be responsible for correctly inputting student data into the MFT. The Student Services Coordinator will maintain and oversee the issue and return of student equipment provided by the PTC and will perform all administrative duties related to student training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or greater
  • 1+ year of Customer Experience
  • 2+ year of experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • History of prioritizing tasks and multitasking with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Highly proficient at using Microsoft Office products
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
  • Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
  • Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.
  • Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know.
  • Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.
  • All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

  • The primary point of contact in dealing with the students
  • Be available to the students to answer non-flying related questions throughout the program
  • Communicates with the students prior to arrival at the Pueblo Training Center (PTC)
  • Gathers all information/documentation required by the FAA and PTC for the student to enter training
  • Creates My Flight Training (MFT) accounts for each student
  • Uploads all required documents into each student’s MFT file
  • Communicates with the Housing Coordinator
  • Builds student training and testing backpacks
  • Issues training backpack to the students on the first day of training and testing backpacks as required
  • Builds student grade folders
  • Coordinates with the Chief of Scheduling for any missing documents and/or information
  • E-Mails the welcome package to the student Approx 2 weeks prior to arrival
  • Is available to assist and answer student questions upon arrival at the PTC
