About The Position

Students will be working with Prof. Muthukrishnan on development of a Lake Decision Support Tool and data collection and facilitation of stakeholder workshops to assess the impact of the DST on stakeholder decisions.

Requirements

  • CITI training for working with protected human subjects research data
  • Experience with social science research methods
  • Familiarity with issues in aquatic invasive species management decision-making
  • Familiarity with simulation models in R
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

  • Literature searching to collect empirical data for model parameterization
  • Beta testing lake DST model
  • Assist in organization and facilitation of stakeholder workshops
  • Collect participant observations during workshops
