About The Position
Students will be working with Prof. Muthukrishnan on development of a Lake Decision Support Tool and data collection and facilitation of stakeholder workshops to assess the impact of the DST on stakeholder decisions.
Requirements
- CITI training for working with protected human subjects research data
- Experience with social science research methods
- Familiarity with issues in aquatic invasive species management decision-making
- Familiarity with simulation models in R
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities
- Literature searching to collect empirical data for model parameterization
- Beta testing lake DST model
- Assist in organization and facilitation of stakeholder workshops
- Collect participant observations during workshops
