The Student Onboarding Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of new undergraduate student orientation, including program development and implementation for the fall new student student pre-arrival and fall orientation experience and spring orientation for first-year and transfer students. Responsible for collaborating with cross-divisional stakeholder areas to produce a quality orientation program. Performs complex administrative and program coordination work for the fall new student orientation and spring orientation; manages logistics and implementation of fall orientation; develops and implements electronic and social media components of orientation; ensures cohesive and effective distribution all pre-orientation materials in partnership with the Parent & Family Relations office; maintains the orientation website and related web links; maintains Guidebook App New Toreros Guide; and recruits, selects, and trains student leaders to support fall and spring orientation programs. Collaborates frequently with Undergraduate Admissions and University Creative Services to develop and coordinate communication to new students during pre-arrival. Periodically, this position may be asked to lead or contribute to either ad hoc or ongoing division/campus projects outside the scope of their day-to-day activities.
