About The Position

Student Media Services Coordinator The Student Media Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Media Services team within the ASU Outreach Hub (OH), a subsidiary of ASU Enterprise Partners (ASUEP). This position is ideal for a student with a passion for digital marketing and a desire to gain hands-on experience in paid media strategies and tactics. Overall, this position will assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns for Arizona State University and its affiliates. This includes assisting with the following: planning paid search and social media marketing campaigns, reporting on ad performance and analytics for multiple clients, and managing payments from the academic units we support.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and familiarity with major social media platforms and digital advertising networks (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Collegial interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written communication)
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of and experience with Google products (Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
  • Strong time management skills: ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Problem solver who can take initiative and set priorities while being flexible
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing assigned duties
  • Excellent planning, highly organized, and processed oriented
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to Enterprise Partners and its subsidiaries, as well as with ASU business and confidential prospect information
  • An Arizona State University undergraduate or graduate student. Any student with the willingness to learn is encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • An Arizona State University undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar field
  • Any relevant business experience with digital media, advertising, or B2B communications
  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices
  • Familiarity with planning, managing, and reporting on Paid Search Ad Campaigns (Google & Bing)
  • Familiarity with planning, managing, and reporting on Social Media Ad Campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the Media Services team: including but not limited to assisting in the implementation of paid media campaigns, target audience research, data entry, and suggesting improvements based on data analysis to optimize campaign performance
  • Assists with tracking campaign performance and reports on digital marketing results and business KPIs (spend, clicks, impressions, click-through rates, conversions)
  • Assists with the management of payments from academic units and clients: including but not limited to processing invoices, tracking payments, and recording receipts
  • Adds final, Brand Team approved creative to the Ad Library
  • Enters and updates information (performance and financial data) into relevant databases
  • Provides back-up support for the Media Services team as needed
  • Stays up to date with industry trends, news platforms, and advertising technologies
  • Other duties as assigned
