Position name: Student Leadership Coordinator Facility name: Clearfield Job Corps Center Location: Clearfield, UT Work schedule: Varies with some overtime possibilities. Benefit package includes: Health/dental/vision/life insurance AD&D as well as short-term disability 401(k) Paid time off Paid holidays Professional development assistance Career advancement opportunities Job responsibilities: Responsible for supervision of student leadership program, student leadership council, welfare fund, leadership instruction, religious and voting services as well as welfare fund concessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year related experience
- Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements
- Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
- Must possess or acquire within 60 days of employment, a valid UT class B CDL with passenger endorsement and an acceptable driving record is required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervision of student leadership program
- Responsible for supervision of student leadership council
- Responsible for supervision of welfare fund
- Responsible for supervision of leadership instruction
- Responsible for supervision of religious and voting services
- Responsible for supervision of welfare fund concessions
- Develop center leadership program and provide leadership instruction
- Develop and prepare lessons for leadership classes
- Provide coordination and oversight among, and between, all student leadership positions to include staff representatives
- Supervise student leadership council, which includes maintaining communication with administration, scheduling and supervising meetings and guiding development of skills in self-government
- Coordinate the concessions operation and administer student welfare fund
- Chaperone student leadership functions
