About The Position

The Student Housing Manager oversees all aspects of student housing operations, ensuring a safe, clean and supportive living environment for students. This role manage housing assignments, maintains strong relationships with apartment management, and serves as the primary point of contact for all housing-related matters. The Student Housing Manager leads the housing team and works collaboratively with other departments to support student success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in student housing, residential life, apartment management, or a related field
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training
  • Must be self-motivated, goal oriented and sense of urgency
  • Ability to establish and sustain a relationship with students
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving skills; ability to multi-task
  • Excellent Driving Record, will operate company vehicle
  • Ability to work evening and week-end hours on occasion
  • Ability to coach and provide guidance to active students
  • Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full student housing process, including application review, housing assignments, and student communications.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the institution and apartment management to coordinate housing logistics, address concerns, and maintain strong partnerships.
  • Conduct regular inspections of student housing to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, and institutional standards.
  • Respond to and resolve student concerns related to housing conditions, roommate conflicts, and maintenance issues.
  • Maintain housing records, occupancy data, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement housing policies and procedures in alignment with institutional guidelines.
  • Provide support during student move-ins, move-outs, and transitional housing periods.
  • Participate in student support initiatives and contribute to the overall student experience.
  • All other duties as assigned.
