About The Position
Under the direction and supervision of on-site staff, the Student Group Leader will: Assist and support after school staff with various aspects of the program Clean, prep, and organize program supplies for lessons and activities Assist with escorting students during program transition times Provide academic assistance to students in small group settings Assist with serving snacks and dinner Assist with field trips and program events Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 16+ years of age
- Provide a required work permit
- Provide two letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or other adult (non-family)
- Criminal Background Check
- Drug Screening
- Covid Vaccination
- TB Test & Physical
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
- Good interpersonal and professional skills, including but not limited to-professional appearance, tact, punctuality and dependability
- Valid identification and reliable transportation
