As a Youth Apprentice at Rosati’s, you’ll gain experience across multiple areas of the restaurant while completing required competencies for school credit. Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in high school
  • Work during approved school hours
  • Complete 14 competencies per year
  • 13 from the state-approved list
  • 1 may be customized to fit your role at Rosati’s
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Interest in food service, hospitality, or business

Responsibilities

  • Safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • Customer service and guest interaction
  • Taking orders and operating the POS system
  • Preparing and cooking menu items
  • Managing and organizing customer orders
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and service areas
  • Operating restaurant equipment
  • Supporting inventory and basic business operations
  • Leadership and administrative tasks
  • Guest safety and security standards
  • Basic financial and operational processes
