About The Position

You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK. Assists in the day-to-day responsibilities of the experiential learning spaces. Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment in our experiential learning spaces. Provide exceptional customer service by instructing and assisting customers with software and equipment. Organize and oversee the use of supplies, tools and materials used in experiential learning spaces. Implement and facilitate hands-on programming for makers of all ages. Collaborate with supervisor to enhance programs. Maintain interdepartmental relationships and seek new ways for these spaces to serve as a resource to other library departments. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must successfully pass a background investigation.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, with a safe driving record and the ability to have/arrange own transportation.
