About The Position

Summary: Join our team as a Student Athlete Dining Attendant, where you'll play a key role in ensuring UW-Madison student athletes have a quality dining experience. You'll work in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment, assisting with food service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

Ability to maintain composure and stay productive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs.
Must be able to stand or walk for long hours.
Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a team.
ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to work fluctuating AM & PM hours as required.

Responsibilities

Transport hot and cold boxes of food to ensure efficient service.
Monitor food quality and quantity, keeping the food line stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
Ensure that hot and cold food items are maintained at safe temperature levels.
Remove leftover food from the line at the end of a meal session and properly dispose of waste.
Clean the food line before, during, and after meal service to maintain a safe and organized environment.
Prepare for the next meal service, ensuring all necessary items are ready for the next session.
Restock paper goods, dry foods, and condiments when necessary.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Complete additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth service operations.
