About The Position

This is a seasonal (temporary) student position that will assist core Service Desk and In-Person Services staff with ID Card Services duties to ensure safety and security to individuals through adherence to processes.

Requirements

• High School graduate
• Experience in a customer service environment
• Enrolled or enrolled in the last consecutive semester in 6 or more credit hours
• Skills: Initiative, timely, communicates well, experience with troubleshooting
• Available to work during Summer and beginning of fall semester (June-September)

Nice To Haves

• Available to work Mondays
• Fluent in Spanish (+$0.50 + hourly pay)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through to completion

Responsibilities

• ID Card and In-Person Services Duties : Print online ID card submissions
• ID Card hand out, following specified processes
• Follow strict identification process and utilize available data to check EID upgrade status
• Alphabetize ID cards to prepare for hand-out
• Communicate with customers about card pick-up status
• ID Support: Move flexibly between roles to fill in for staff members taking breaks/lunches
• Line management
• Limited-Service Desk support, such as EID, DUO, and Wi-Fi support
• Other duties, as assigned
