We are seeking a Student Assistant to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. What You’ll Do Under the direction of the Contracts & Compliance Associate, the Student Assistant is responsible for providing the Enterprise & Procurement Services department with a wide range of support, including but not limited to, contract drafting and lifecycle management, insurance compliance, contract compliance, risk management, information governance, customer service, and other administrative tasks. The incumbent will work closely with the organization’s Legal and Contracts departments to ensure alignment. Facilitate and assist with tracking contracts and certificates of insurance (including additional insured and other endorsements) and other contract requirements to ensure agreements are current and vendor’s provisions follow the Foundation’s Contracts Policy and in coordination with the Legal Department’s requirements. Support contract portfolio lifecycle by drafting contract modifications, extensions, amendments, notices, and preliminary agreement documents. Communicate proactively, timely, and effectively with internal and external contacts regarding the status of contracts, insurance issues, projects, and/or other various documents or processes, including providing necessary information and following up. Provide general administrative support to supervisor such as: proofreading and formatting documents; organizing contract and legal files; filing; preparing correspondence and mailing; scheduling appointments; and other administrative tasks. Budgeted Hourly Pay Range: Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
