As our Disability Services Student Assistant, you will help achieve our departmental goals and provide exceptional services to the students we serve. Disability Services (DS) provides accommodations for academics and campus life to students with disabilities who register with the office. These accommodations range from providing American Sign Language interpreting services to reading tests out loud to approval of emotional support animals for the residence halls. Student assistants are an integral part of the DS team! The applicant must have good interpersonal skills. The applicant must demonstrate familiarity with laptop and desktop computers. The applicant must be able to work independently and reliably meet time commitments. The applicant must be able to read out loud clearly. The applicant must be able to take legible notes.
