About The Position

The Student Application Specialist assists prospective students throughout the application and onboarding process. This role requires strong communication, accurate documentation, and the ability to manage a high daily call volume . The position operates under a hybrid schedule, requiring 2–3 in-office days each week , with mandatory in-person onboarding and training.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, call-handling tools, and computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Reliable internet connection for hybrid work
  • Availability for required in-person training and weekly office attendance

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service or call center experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
  • Strong problem-solving and student-centered mindset

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to prospective students completing applications
  • Conduct a high volume of inbound and outbound calls daily
  • Send follow-up texts and emails following each student interaction
  • Maintain accurate student data within CRM and enrollment systems
  • Use standardized scripts and communication procedures
  • Collaborate with Enrollment and Applications teams to streamline workflows
  • Attend all required meetings, trainings, and development sessions
  • Comply with FERPA regulations and organizational policies
