About The Position

This is a shop-focused welding position supporting Sentry’s Manufacturing team. The right candidate should have experience with structural steel welding, including MIG and stick welding, and be comfortable working in a manufacturing/fabrication shop environment. Experience with Dual Shield welding is preferred. We are willing to train the right person who brings a solid work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. If you show up ready to work, communicate well, and take pride in what you build, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

• Candidate must be able to pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of structural steel welding experience
• Dual Shield welding experience
• Manufacturing or fabrication shop background
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Willingness to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Structural steel welding using MIG, stick, and Dual Shield processes
• Cutting and preparing materials
• Assembly of steel framework
• Grinding and weld cleanup
• Reading basic shop drawings
• Operating shop equipment and tools
• Use of gantry and shop cranes
• Rigging and material handling
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Supporting other shop and fabrication tasks as needed
