Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in laying out and fabricating steel is required for this position.
  • Your ability to accurately read and interpret fabrication and construction drawings will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products.

Nice To Haves

  • Welding Certification in D1.1 and/or D1.5 is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections of fabricated steel in our AISC certified facility.
  • Address and document any non-conformances that may arise during the inspection process.
  • Inspect fabricated material to ensure it meets the specifications outlined in the shop drawings.
  • In-process and final inspections, ensuring the dimensional layout and placement of parts meet our rigorous standards.
  • Participate in our annual AISC QC Audits and develop goals to improve and promote quality throughout the organization.
  • Work well with production to solve any issues that arise will be crucial in maintaining our high standards.
