You'll work on the structural foundation of the steel components that support infrastructure across the globe - from utility poles and communication towers to lighting and transportation structures. Your attention to detail, ability to read prints, and commitment to quality help ensure everything we build is strong, aligned, and built to last. As a Fitter, you'll lay the groundwork for welders and fabricators by interpreting blueprints, aligning parts, and prepping steel components for final assembly. Your precision and layout skills help ensure the structural integrity of every finished product.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of layout or fitting experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and layout tools
  • Familiarity with tack welding and fabrication processes
  • Experience using overhead cranes, grinders, and cutting tools
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A strong safety mindset and pride in quality workmanship

Responsibilities

  • Laying out, aligning, and fitting steel parts according to blueprints and shop drawings
  • Tack welding components prior to final weld
  • Measuring and verifying dimensions for accuracy
  • Operating overhead cranes and hand/power tools safely
  • Maintaining a clean, organized work area
  • Following all safety protocols and contributing to a high-performing team
