Under general direction of the Environmental Health Services Section Chief, directs, plans, implements, and evaluates the Structural Pest Control Program. Provides technical guidance to Central Office staff and Regional staff in carrying out inspections and interpreting and enforcing State and Federal laws and Department rules and regulations. Serves as working supervisor. Travels to provide technical and administrative presentations and consultations to interested organizations and the regulated industry. Schedules and oversees pest control certification examinations of individual. Reviews the budget necessary to carry out inspections, investigations, sample analyses. Attends continuing education and professional development training. Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
