Structural MIG Welder and Fabrication Technician

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical welding training preferred.
- Experience as a MIG welder or in a comparable welding role.
- Strong command of welding techniques and shop safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and related technical documentation.
- Sharp attention to detail with effective troubleshooting skills.
- Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
- Physical stamina appropriate for welding work.
- D1.1 certification or ability to pass the test.
Responsibilities
- Apply MIG welding to fabricate and assemble a variety of metal components.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to meet specification requirements.
- Inspect finished welds and verify conformance to quality standards.
- Maintain a safe, orderly work area and follow safety procedures.
- Coordinate with teammates to meet production deadlines and goals.
- Perform routine maintenance on welders to sustain optimal performance.
- Pursue training to enhance welding knowledge and technique.
