About The Position
Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced Structural Fitter/Welder to join a fabrication shop in Tulsa. This Structural Fitter/Welder position is ideal for candidates with a solid background in fitting and welding structural components in a shop environment.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of fitting and welding experience required
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Must be able to pass a 1G MIG and 1G Flux Core weld test
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
Responsibilities
- Fit, align, and weld structural steel components
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Perform welding using MIG and Flux Core processes
- Ensure finished welds meet quality and specification standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
