About The Position

Overview Mostly Fitting and Tig Welding We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read blueprints and adhere to industry codes and standards. This role involves working with ductwork, sheet metal, and various power tools to fabricate and assemble components for our projects.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools safely.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
Familiarity with welding codes and standards relevant to the industry.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with ductwork and sheet metal preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks using various techniques including stick welding and plasma cutting.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
Fit and assemble components, ensuring accuracy and quality in every weld.
Utilize power tools and equipment safely to cut, shape, and join materials.
Rig materials as necessary for assembly or installation.
Maintain compliance with industry codes and standards throughout the fabrication process.
Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
