About The Position

This role involves overseeing, directing and executing structural engineering designs and permitting efforts for a range of commercial and industrial sector projects. Foster a culture of excellence and innovation Managing and mentoring engineering team, providing guidance, support and fostering professional growth Driving technological advancements, staying up to date with industry trends Ensuring adherence to best practices, industry regulations and quality assurance processes Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with structural concrete, steel and retaining structure rehabilitation design.
  • Professional Engineering licensure.
  • Proficiency in industry standard structural analysis and building code analysis.
  • Deep understanding of building construction techniques and experience with structural framing systems.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, external partners, and multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of business objectives, financial management and market dynamics.
  • Collaborative and supportive personal communication style.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience building and mentoring teams of high performing technical people.
  • Ability to cultivate a culture of execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.
