The Structural Engineering Drafting Officer is required to prepare detailed steel and precast shop drawings for industrial and commercial projects. This role requires extensive experience in reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings and using TEKLA software. Review architectural and structural drawings and prepare shop drawing RFIâs (request for information) Build TEKLA steel and precast models, complying with precast yard production limitations and company typical details Oversee precast and steel shop drawing team members and ensure for accuracy of drawings Prepare and manage QA process for drawings to IFA Review IFA drawings with design team and issue IFC documentation Work in a fast paced environment and meet project deadlines as required What You'll Do: You'll be the kind of person who: KEY RESULT AREAS â ACCOUNTABILITIES AND MEASUREABLES In performing the following duties, the incumbent is required to comply with quality assurance policies and procedures, and other relevant legislative requirements applicable to the Institution. CORPORATE SERVICES â Head of HSEQ 1 Quality and Compliance Maintaining highest quality drafting according to the Australian Standards & company specifications. Analyse projects & design shop drawing to figure out the best practices & production methods in coordination with Arkâs Operations Manager, Design Team and Project Delivery Team. 2 OHS and Environment Compliance with operational requirements and limitations including WorkSafe lifting requirements Consider safety in relation to compliance Ensuring other team members follow same standards 3 Risk Management Identify, report, control, eliminate any risks or hazards that may impact the project integrity. Report on project design and constructability 4 Reporting Regular and ongoing reporting to Design Manager including regular stock and material quantities for projects 5 Communication and Relationships Work as part of the larger team Relate to people from diverse social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Coordinate and action tasks Participate in meetings when required Provide clear and accurate & timely communication EXPECTATIONS Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders in support of the company mission and compliance with Commonwealth and State Legislation.
