About The Position
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is partnered with a local partner in the Maritime Industry for a contracted, project based, assignment in New Orleans, LA. We are searching for structural designer candidates with 3-5 experience. See below for a brief description, minimum requirements, and employment requirements.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of design experience
- Experience utilizing CAD design
- Steel design experience
- 2D and 3D modeling experience
- Proven record of successful projects worked
- Proficient with ShipConstructor
- U.S. citizen or Green Card immigration resident in the United States
- Ability to successfully pass a federal, state, and local security background check
Responsibilities
- Formulate, design, and draw structural illustrations, schemas and designs.
- Use Auto CADD proficiently and effectively
- Communicate project problems, concerns, and flaws to managers.
- Review, update, and modify structural drawings.
