About The Position

This position is responsible for creating and developing quality package designs, specifications, and prototypes to assist Account Managers in sales promotions. The role involves investigating and procuring all data required for design development, discussing design projects with Sales representatives to select appropriate designs, and drawing designs. The Structural Designer I will formulate and communicate ideas for new and/or improved designs by analyzing customer needs and production feasibility. They will use computer aided design software to create samples and process them on a cutting table. Additionally, the role requires knowledge of production machine capabilities to assist in developing design specifications and assisting customer service to ensure proper plate and die ordering and timely securing of master print cards.

Requirements

• Associate to four year degree with emphasis on computer aided design, CAD, and drafting, or applicable work experience.
• Competent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required.

Responsibilities
