To be eligible to apply candidates must meet all the below post specific requirements: Active IMC - Number must be clearly stated on application form Applications will not be accepted from candidates who have inactive registration or registration that is in final stages Membership examinations are desirable OET/IELTS examination (Where applicable) Successful candidates must be available to take up duty on the 13th July 2026, in line with the NCHD national rotation CVs WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THIS STAGE Stroke registrar will work directly to support the stroke service. This includes attending fast calls in the ED, acute in hospital strokes, stroke consultation on inpatients under the governance of the stroke consultant of the day (neurology/geriatrics). During the days when neurology are on call, the registrar will work directly to support stroke with the neurology team. The registrar will get experience with Interprofessional working with the stroke ANPS and CNSs is a key part of the role and attendance at the stroke MDM is essential. Active engagement with audit and service development is required along with stroke training including weekly simulation. Broader clinical experience with neurology and geriatrics is available via the respective services providing on call.
