Strategy Research Associate, Creator Platform

Rockstar Games is on the lookout for a talented early career individual with strong analytical, research, and project management skills to join our Creator Platform team. The ideal candidate is passionate about games and comfortable driving a wide range of business-oriented tasks. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan. WHAT WE DO Rockstar’s Creator Platform team builds and operates technology platforms that enable creators to develop their own game modes, experiences, and modifications for players to experience community-created content on fully customized servers. We develop tools and services that empower creators to build, publish, operate, grow, and monetize their experiences. We work at the intersection of games, creator ecosystems, platform infrastructure and community.
Requirements
- 1+ years of professional experience in a strategic, product, or analytical capacity.
- Deep understanding of the landscape of Creator Platforms (Roblox, Fortnite, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, etc.).
- Comfort with large data sets, and the ability to extract insights from analysis.
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize workload, balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to write clearly and succinctly, synthesize and present complex information for senior stakeholders.
- Experience supporting multifaceted, fast-paced teams.
- Ability to adjust and respond to rapidly shifting priorities.
Nice To Haves
- Passion for gaming; plays or is up-to-date with major console and PC releases.
- Experience working on UGC products, developer tools, marketplaces, or live-service game products.
- Familiarity with the GTA Roleplay ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Creator Platform and GTA Roleplay subject matter expert to the wider Rockstar organization.
- Conduct competitive analyses on games and game platforms, informing product and growth initiatives across the Creator Platform.
- Maintain and evolve monthly metric tracking across FiveM and RedM, including engagement (players, watch time, etc.) and revenue performance.
- Drive initiatives to grow users, business, and platform based on opportunity identification and evaluation.
- Support financial planning and forecasting processes.
- Support business development related initiatives with research, financial modeling, and legal coordination.
- Serve as operational support for the department, including supporting setup/standup/relationships with new and existing partners.
