About The Position

At PNC, our people are our greatest differentiator and competitive advantage in the markets we serve. We are all united in delivering the best experience for our customers. We work together each day to foster an inclusive workplace culture where all of our employees feel respected, valued and have an opportunity to contribute to the company’s success. As a Strategy & Planning Advisor Senior within the HR Total Rewards team, you will be part of PNC's Human Resources organization. This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA. This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint. We are seeking a senior HR professional to serve as the executive sponsor’s key partner for all HR-related M&A activity. This role will be a highly visible, hands-on position responsible for shaping our HR M&A strategy, leading cross-functional readiness efforts, and ensuring our organization is prepared to execute transactions of varying size and complexity. This individual will not manage a direct team but will play a pivotal role in leading through influence — driving alignment across HR Centers of Excellence, building repeatable frameworks, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the deal lifecycle. Preferred skills and experience: A seasoned HR professional with strong experience in M&A, strategy, or transformation projects. Highly accountable and self-driven; able to operate with minimal direction. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, building structure where none exists, and driving decisions forward. Skilled at leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority. Exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously. Executive presence and credibility to work directly with senior leaders and deal teams. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
