Known for its innovative approach and commitment to providing top-tier patient care, this organization is expanding its strategic footprint through mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships to enhance growth and operational excellence. Summary The Manager of M&A Integration is a key member of the Corporate Development team and will report to the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions within the Growth Office. This individual will coordinate pre-close and post-close integration activities for acquisitions and partnerships, serving as the primary point of contact for sellers through the pre-close phase and ensuring a smooth, professional transition after close. The ideal candidate brings strong project management skills, is highly collaborative, and can translate strategic deal objectives into clear, executable integration plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in integration, healthcare operations, corporate development, project management, or post-merger integration roles.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple dependencies and tight timelines.
  • Strong project management and organizational capability; able to run multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with comfort identifying risks and translating insights into action.
  • Excellent communication skills with the presence to engage executives, functional leaders, and sellers.
  • Relationship-oriented approach with the ability to earn trust quickly and maintain alignment through change.
  • Proficiency with project management and productivity tools (Smartsheet/Asana/MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare services or PPM experience is preferred but not required.
  • PMP, Lean/Six Sigma, or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for sellers during pre-close integration planning, setting expectations, managing timelines, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Build tailored integration strategies and draft integration plans for leadership review, incorporating insights from diligence.
  • Activate integration plans immediately post-close and convert pre-close work into a detailed execution roadmap.
  • Lead cross-functional project management across HR, Finance, IT, Operations, and Clinical Services to deliver integration milestones on time.
  • Maintain proactive, transparent communication with internal stakeholders and sellers throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Identify risks or operational issues early and drive timely resolutions.
  • Deliver core integration milestones within roughly 120 days post-close and support deal value realization.
  • Compile final integration documentation outlining outstanding items, risks, and lessons learned for operational handoff.
  • Provide a cohesive, respectful “leave no wake” seller experience that minimizes disruption and reinforces trust.
  • Build strong relationships with incoming partners and internal leaders to ensure alignment and continuity.
  • Partner with Corporate Development, Operations, and Value Creation teams to refine integration tools, templates, and playbooks.
  • Contribute to building a scalable integration framework that accelerates synergy capture and value realization.
  • Capture feedback and support continuous improvement of integration processes.
