About The Position

Come join WCF Insurance as a Strategy Intern for an educational hands-on approach to learning about insurance and mitigating risk. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), temporary position that works out of WCF's Sandy, Utah headquarters.
The Strategy Intern will work closely with the Claims Strategy team to analyze business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and assist in developing strategic initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in learning how data-driven insights shape operational and organizational decisions, while also contributing to the design of materials that support strategic goals.
After the internship, there is a possibility of a part-time position as an apprentice, depending on business needs.

Requirements

• Completed sophomore year of college or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• This internship is open to students of all majors who are interested in exploring insurance operations and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conducting research and gathering data to support strategic projects and initiatives.
• Assisting in analyzing claims trends, operational metrics, and market benchmarks.
• Designing and developing content to support implementation of strategic initiatives and process changes.
• Creating job aids, guides, and learning resources for internal teams.
