Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2026 Strategy and Business Development (S&BD) Intern for our Sikorsky line of business. In this role, you will support global business development by identifying and qualifying new market opportunities, coordinating cross regional outreach, and maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients. You will manage new business resources, tracking proposals, contracts, and partner engagements while ensuring all documentation is up to date in the CRM system. Additionally, you will analyze historical actuals—such as win rates, deal sizes, and sales cycles—to build forecast models that project future new business funding, aligning those projections with the organization’s long range planning records and providing actionable insights in a presentation to senior leadership. Ability to be able to travel internationally. Must be a U.S Citizen.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Engineering, International Business, Project Management or related major.
  • Interest in Business Development.
  • Proficient with IT systems to develop source material, conduct research and prepare presentations.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • General familiarity with United States Department of Defense missions and platforms, and associated Defense Industry landscape.
