The Strategy & Revenue Operations Intern supports the development and optimization of business processes that drive operational excellence and organizational growth. You are motivated, analytical, and curious with a strong interest in understanding how business strategy and operational efficiency intersect. You bring attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, and a collaborative approach to working across teams. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the life and disability insurance industry, contributing to initiatives that enhance profitability and streamline processes.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve and think critically.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or similar productivity tools.
  • Interest in business strategy, operations, and the insurance or financial services industry.
  • A proactive, curious mindset and a willingness to learn from diverse teams and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the documentation, design, and improvement of key operational workflows that support product and carrier onboarding.
  • Assist in the creation of clear, organized process documentation for new products, business initiatives, and internal procedures.
  • Support the identification and resolution of operational bottlenecks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Participate in the evaluation and analysis of new tools, systems, and process changes to assess their impact on business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with teams including Sales, Case Management, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Support your manager and leadership team in strategic planning, special projects, and day-to-day operational activities.
