About The Position

At Medtronic, the Strategy and Competitive Intelligence Consultant plays a crucial role in understanding, interpreting, and communicating the company's market position. This individual is responsible for translating business performance, competitive dynamics, and market intelligence into executive-ready insights to enhance investor-facing messaging, particularly during quarterly earnings cycles. Beyond earnings, the role serves as the competitive intelligence and market insights lead for the Neuromodulation operating unit, supporting broader marketing and strategic planning efforts. This position offers significant exposure to executive decision-making, market dynamics, capital markets, and portfolio strategy within a high-visibility operating unit. Medtronic is a global healthcare technology leader dedicated to addressing challenging health problems and championing healthcare access and equity. The company fosters a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration, requiring a minimum of 4 days a week onsite. The Neuroscience organization, including Neuromodulation, focuses on advancing care for complex neurological and spinal conditions through innovative technology, data-driven insights, and clinical expertise to improve patient treatment and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
