About The Position

The individual will thrive in a competitive and fast-moving client strategy and sales environment. A successful candidate will play an integral role in achieving the Team’s sales and growth goals. Candidates must be comfortable making/taking dozens of calls daily, developing partner channels, presenting in front of a group of people, generating and qualifying prospects as well as closing sales.

Requirements

  • College Degree Preferred
  • 1+ years of Sales, Wellness, Employee Benefits, or related experience, or any combination of education, experience and training that provides knowledge and abilities to perform the job
  • Passion for Health and Wellness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong typing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
  • Ability to respond professionally and accurately to requests received from a variety of clients, vendor partners, and brokers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred
  • Proficiency in GoTo Meeting, Zoom or other virtual presentation

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance brokerage experience specifically in employee benefits preferred

Responsibilities

  • Upsell current clients- works with sales, brokers, consultants, and internal team.
  • Establish working relationship with client point-of-contact; develops and oversees the account service strategy, including regularly scheduled meetings as agreed upon by the client. Prepare agendas, minutes, deliverable tracking and other project documentation to communicate progress internally and externally.
  • Work collaboratively with Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Growth & Strategy to develop and deliver engagement/strategy recommendations to clients.
  • Work with WellnessIQ vendor partners and their team to help communicate the offerings and the value of biometric screenings.
  • Become expert in all ancillary wellness services that are offered and can provide strategic direction for prospects and current clients. Services include but are not limited to biometric screenings, virtual and onsite health fairs, webinars, health coaching and proprietary video content library.
  • Able to generate new leads via broker and direct to end user sales channels.
  • Aid in answering qualified Requests for Proposals (RFP’s)
  • Ability to upsell wellbeing solutions within the current Book of Business and brokers, including confidence to deliver a demo and showing solution value
  • Experienced user of Salesforce.com
  • Ability to cold call prospects and brokers
  • Ability to form a relationship quickly and be consultative in all things well-being
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with the entire WellnessIQ staff.
  • Travel as needed
